When you give us personal information about another person you represent that you are authorised to do so and agree to inform the person that we have collected their information as part of this application and of the contents of this Privacy Statement and Consent.
We collect your personal information to assess and process an application you make and, in some cases, to submit that application to one or more financiers (some of which are members of the Eclipx Group). Where you wish for us to arrange for insurance on your behalf we may also submit your application to one or more insurers. An insurer may collect your sensitive health information when determining whether or not to provide you with insurance.
We, and the financier(s) and/or insurer(s) to whom we submit your application, may also collect your personal information (including, where permitted by law, your credit-related personal information) for the following purposes:
If you do not provide this personal information, we, the financier or (if relevant) the insurer may be unable to provide you with credit and/or services. The collection of your personal information may be required by the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth) and National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth) (in the case of applicants in Australia), and the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2013, the Tax Administration Act 1993 and, to the extent necessary, the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003 (in the case of applicant’s in New Zealand).
Personal information about you may also be exchanged with credit reporting bodies (CRBs). CRBs may include information about you in reports provided to financiers and agents of financiers (which can include us) to assist in assessing your credit worthiness.
We may exchange your personal information with financiers and (if relevant) insurers.
We, and the financier(s) and/or insurer(s) to whom we submit your application, may also exchange your personal information (including, where permitted by law, your credit-related personal information) to:

If you fail to meet your payment obligations in relation to credit that has been provided or if you commit a serious credit infringement, we or the financier may be entitled to disclose this to a CRB.
We, and the financier(s) and/or insurer(s) to whom we submit your application, may disclose your personal information (including, where permitted by law, credit-related personal information) to overseas recipients in order to provide services and products and for administrative, data storage or other business management purposes. It is not practicable to list all of the countries to which your information may be transmitted from time to time, but in our case, your personal information (including credit-related personal information) may be transmitted between Australia and New Zealand, and it is likely that other such countries will include the United States, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong.

That information will assist us in providing our services to you. This authorisation ceases when we undertake a task on behalf of a financier.
